Experience
James H. Donell, CPM®, CCIM is the Chief Executive Officer of FedReceiver, Inc. Since 1990 he has been appointed as receiver in hundreds of cases in state and federal courts in California, Arizona and Nevada. Mr. Donell has been appointed as receiver in government enforcement actions bought by the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as other governmental authorities, and as special master in actions brought by the California Department of Business Oversight. These enforcement actions have included business fraud involving more than 25,000 investors with invested funds exceeding $750 million. In addition, Mr. Donell has extensive experience in business dissolutions, judgment enforcements and rents, issues and profits cases. He also has extensive experience in asset liquidation, construction completion, and the administration and court-approved sale of more than 200 real estate properties, consisting of numerous multi-family apartment complexes, condominiums, single family homes, commercial office buildings, retail centers, industrial buildings, mobile home parks, RV parks, gas stations and unimproved land.
Mr. Donell is also the Chief Executive Officer of Jalmar Properties, Inc., AMO®. The company was formed in 1985 and has provided property management services for multi-family, commercial, retail, industrial, RV parks and mobile home parks with a market value in excess of $1 billion. Mr. Donell is licensed as a real estate broker in California and Nevada, where he also holds a property management permit. Jalmar Properties, Inc. AMO® is licensed as a real estate broker in California, Arizona and Nevada, and the company was awarded the designation of AMO® Company of the Year in 2005 by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®).
